Libertymoms offers a variety of activites to its members. We are an extremely cohesive group that prides ourselves on our close friendships and ability to provide constant support and camaraderie to new M.O.M.s, as well as mothers of older children.We are active members of the Pennsylvania Organization of Mothers of Twins Clubs. Members have children ranging in age from newborns to teen-agers and beyond  .

Our Activities

General Meetings: We usually meet the third Tuesday of the Month, September through June, at 7:45pm. We meet at the Glenside United Church.  New members are always welcome, although there are rare occasions when the meeting is not the third Tuesday of the Month or in another location, so please see the events to confirm  or contact us . There are a variety of activities at the meetings:

• Refreshments
• Game Night
• Movie Night
• Annual New Mom’s Tea

Clothing Sales – Open to the public, one in September and one in March, the clothing sales give the M.O.M.s the opportunity to clean out all their out-grown children’s clothes, as well as buy new clothing from other M.O.M.s at the member’s only sale.

Family Events – Such as picnics, outings to area museums and zoos. All children and spouses are welcome.

Holiday Dinner – Every December we meet at a local restaurant for an annual, M.O.M.-only event to celebrate the holidays. The evening includes games, prizes, a gift exchange as well as a cookie exchange.

Philanthropy – We participate in the community with special gifts for mothers with babies in the NICU at Abington Memorial Hospital.

State Convention – The last weekend in April is the annual Pennsylvania Organization of Mothers of Twins Clubs (POMOTC) Convention. Many M.O.M.s from the club spend 3-4 days relaxing and visiting with 400 other M.O.Ms from around the state. The Convention includes workshops, tours and dinners.
